One of the best parts of my job is how many interesting little people I get to meet! These 2 little girlies were so much fun to get to know during our time at the farm. I love 3 year olds, they are so fun, silly, and easy to make laugh (most of the time haha except for my own!) I think the Sofia tattoos were the icing on the cake 🙂 Little sis was not so eager to play but we got some smiles out of her and her little (big) personality was so fun to capture for her parents.
Nothing says summer evening than a trip to Carmen’s and then the park 🙂 Last week after a day of Noah calling all the shots in typical 3 year old fashion I decided that we all needed a dinner out and to run off some steam at the park. Abby’s day had been not the greatest due to little brother issues so I arranged for her bestie to meet us at the playground to surprise her 🙂 We had a great evening and everyone’s mood was VERY much improved. Fresh air works wonders!
We took the kids to Kids Night at the Rockville Town Square last week to see Rocknoceros. Rocknoceros is a really awesome kid friendly band. It was a beautiful evening, the storms that we seem to get every evening now passed us by and the weather was perfect. Of course we ended up not staying long because sometimes 3 year olds are cranky and that doesn’t make for a fun evening haha! Luckily I have photographic proof that we had fun for about 20 minutes before the tantrums 🙂
Ok you guys I have said this before but THIS TIME I really mean it…this summer I am going to take out “big girl” camera out and get more images of my own kiddos. It is so easy to just take iphone photos that I get lazy and talk myself out of carrying around my Nikon. But this summer will be different! My kiddos and I have a bucket list of plans for this summer so I figure if we are doing some exciting things I will want to document it. I also want to document quiet time at home and how silly they are with each other. The other day it rained all day long so I decided to take advantage of it and get my camera out, so glad I did! My daughter is quite the artist, she is her happiest when she is creating. She also just started to read so she is reading to her little brother a lot which can get pretty silly 🙂 My little guy is not the easiest to photograph, the opposite of his sister, so I really need get him in front of the camera more!
Newborn sessions happen in the first 14 days of life, after that it’s what I call an “oldborn” session 🙂 The baby may not be as sleepy or poseable but the session will of course still be adorable because what is more adorable than a baby? Not much! This little guy was not in the mood for sleeping so we got awake shots and lots and lots of snuggly family shots, which just happen to be some of my favorite to capture. They are only this little for SHORT time, make sure to cherish each exhausting second 🙂
