Child Portrait Session: little Miss S

I love catching up with my newborns!  Caught up with this little cutie at the Agricultural History Farm Park in Derwood.  Our session was amazing, Mama really knows how to make her baby smile 🙂    I can’t believe how easy this session was and I just love how they images came out.  Can’t wait for next time!

Family Portrait Session: The w family

I was so happy to hear from this family again, last time I saw them they were expecting their little girl and we had a great family session at the farm.  I met them at their home and we walked to a beautiful little area near by to do some outdoor portraits.  Then we headed home to do some lifestyle shots in the house.  Big brother was not all that into being photographed but I am not a quitter so we managed to get a few shots of him and some great family shots too 🙂

Family Portrait Session: The H Family

Big family sessions can sometimes be intimidating for good reason.  Lots of different personalities and blinking possibilites 🙂  I have had a few big family sessions like this recently and I am enjoying them so much!  I love photographing kids and grandparents, I have some photos of myself and my grandparents and I cherish them so much.  This family met me at the Agricultural History Farm Park EARLY one Sunday morning, I had such a fun time with them.  The kids were amazing, so happy and smiley.  Best part was there were some pretty funny Moms and Dads behind me for some shots because we captured some epic giggles 🙂

Lifestyle Newborn Portrait Session: The H Family

If you ever check out my blogged sessions you will recognize this family from our 6 (wow 6!) sessions over the last 3 years.  I was so thrilled to hear they were expecting another little one and I was even more excited when they said they wanted to have a more lifestyle approach to their newborn session this time around.  I really enjoy these sessions, lots of snuggles and laughs.  Lots of family shots with Mom and Dad and big brothers and sisters.  Of course I do bring some blankets to do a few traditional, posed sleeping shots, can’t forget those!

I started off the session with some “BIG SISTER” shots in her room, we read some books, did some puzzles, and played some Barbies.  Daddy also played some Barbies with her which is just the cutest thing ever!  Then I moved on to family shots and Mom and Dad shots, I love these!  so much love!  I am so excited with how the session turned out, can’t wait till next time!
