It is not often that I get to photograph newborn twins so I was sooo excited for this session, and I’m not going to lie a little nervous 🙂  I think one of the key things to a twin newborn session is that you have to have help, I was lucky enough to have one of my amazing photographer friends there to help me out and I am so grateful to her for that. I love the images that we captured of these 2 adorable boys and I had a blast getting to know them and their parents.Â
This little cutie came to my home studio in Rockville for a cake smash session. I just adore cake smash sessions! I mean you can’t get more adorable than a baby with covered in cake right? This year I have decided to do a personal blog post each month of images of my family and life. I have been neglecting taking personal shots with my slr and have been relying on phone images/instagram for photos of my kids like I am sure a lot of us do.   I am really loving capturing everyday moments of them and not making them pose and getting impatient with me for taking their photos (just call me the mamarazzi lol). I can’t wait to make make a book of all the images at the end of the year! This year in my photography business I am adding more of a lifestyle element to my sessions, I am really excited to capture families enjoying real moments together. Â
This adorable session took place in Leesburg, Va. I met this family at their home and we took a walk to the park near their house. I had a such a fun time with these guys, how cute are they?! I may have had to say some silly (ahem..potty) words to get some smiles but you gotta do what you gotta do 🙂 Hard to take a bad photo of this beautiful trio!
This young lady is part of one of my favorite families to work with! Katlyn is the big sister of one of my newborns, I was excited when her mom told me she wanted Katlyn to do a session. We met at the Agricultural History Farm Park in Derwood on a chilly November afternoon. Katlyn was a real trooper and didn’t complain about the cold at all. I just love how the images came out!
