I photographed this session at the client’s home. I think sometimes it is easier for me to just pack up all my stuff than to make the client’s come out in the cold especially with a toddler in tow along with a newborn. I also really am enjoying photographing families in their own environment, I find people especially toddlers are more at ease at home. I love doing the family shots on mom and dad’s bed, so comfy and cozy. Big sister was so happy to be holding her little brother too 🙂
I just love a squishy baby! Who doesn’t? This guy was no exception! He was a great sleeper for a while until he had had enough, I am so glad he let us use the fishing props his Mommy brought…how adorable! Also I was very excited to use my fox hat (finally!).
I can’t say enough times how flattering it is so have so many repeat clients. I genuinely love to see my clients every year and look forward to seeing how the kids have grown. I photographed this family in 2010 when I was first starting out with my business. I was a little intimidated to photograph a family of this size but once I met them it was smooth sailing, such warm and friendly people. We met this year at the Glenview Mansion in Rockville on an unseasonably humid day in November. I love how the images came out and I can’t wait to see them again!
I am still playing catch up with my sessions from the busy holiday season! I met this family on campus at the University of Maryland in College Park on a brisk, slightly overcast Fall morning. I was blown away by how beautiful the fall colours were there (kind of want to go back next Fall!). This little guy could not have been cuter or easier to work with. I love how the leaves almost perfectly match his adorable red hair! Best part of the session was finding out that his dad and my husband knew each other from college!
Wow this was so hard to choose! I photographed so many cute little faces this year, I had about a million (ok not really) that I wanted to use. I decided on this one because I am sucker for spunky little girls.
