I met this little lady’s Mom when we did her maternity photos, we were only a few weeks apart in our pregnancies and it was really fun to talk about how we were feeling and names etc… Obviously I couldn’t do her newborn photos so we set up the First Year photos as soon as we could. What an adorable little girl! and *ahem…* I think she liked the cake 🙂
I have been so lucky this year to get to photograph these 2 little ladies every 3 months and they just keep getting more and more adorable 🙂 This was the 9 month session and I really wanted to dial up the cuteness so I thought a “wash day” theme would be adorable. I brought along my daughter and we met these ladies and their Mama at the Agricultural History Farm Park in Derwood. I love their cheeky grins!
I met this lovely family when I did their maternity session a few months prior. I love getting to meet the baby after I do a maternity session 🙂 This little guy was a tough cookie, he did not want to sleep for a while so we waited oh so patiently for him to be tired and once he was out that was it! His mama wanted him in those nerd glasses soooo bad ( I’m partial to nerds myself!) so we made sure we got that and then we thought it would be fun to add the books. I love how it came out!
I met this little guy and his Mommy at the Agricultural History Farm Park one beautiful summer afternoon. It was hot and after a few shots in the bucket little man was getting a wee bit fussy. We took a break and tried again but it was clear that this was not the day and we made plans to reschedule for a studio session. When Colton came to my studio he was such a happy little guy and I got some great shots of him and his gorgeous red hair 🙂 One of the things I have learned from photographing babies and kids is that we are really on their schedule, if snacks and a nice break don’t work sometimes it’s best to try again another day 🙂
I love a glowing mama to be! Throw in some golden light at the farm (one of my favorite locations!) and I’m in heaven! We ended up at the farm when our first location suffered storm damage from the Derecho (yes I am THAT behind on my blog lol) but I’m so glad we did because this setting seemed to fit this couple’s vibe much better. I can’t wait till our newborn session!
